"What a terrific showcase of our students’ creativity last night! The interactions of peers, staff, parents, alumni and guests around some compelling, provocative and fun works has given us another cause to celebrate our students’ talents."

- Norman Southward, Head of School

The 2016 Ashbury College Arts Show was an evening celebrating the creativity of our Senior School Students. The CLC was a creative hub of curated exhibitions, theater shorts, film shorts, musical performances and writers craft readings. The community learned how to print t-shirts at the Spins and Needles Silkscreen station, participate in a collaborative art project by a visiting artist and try their hand at claymation. The evening's guests discovered how art can be used to enhance health, took green screen portraits, drew from a model, painted their faces, and participated in many more exciting activities. All the proceeds from the evening went to support the ongoing student identified community project(RSI) as well as to support visiting social activist artists to come to the Ashbury art studios to share how they use art to promote community and change. We would like to thank everyone who came out to join us in making this a memorable event. Your presence and support is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
